Colours

Food colours normally fall into two groups, Artificial and Natural.

Supplied in either liquid or powder form.

Both can be used either as primary colours or can be blended to achieve the required colour/shade in finished products.

Natural colours are generally less vibrant and not as concentrated as their artificial counterparts  

Reds

Red colours are available in liquid and powder form, ranging from pale pink through to burgundy

Yellow colours are available in liquid and powder form, ranging from pale yellow through to dark orange.

Blue

Blue colours are available in liquid and powder form, ranging from pale blue to indigo.

Greens

Green colours are available in powder or liquid form and are generally blends of primary colours therefore providing a wide spectrum of colour.

There are basically two white colours, with varying tonallity.

From grey through to dense black

Ranging from pale golden brown through to dark chocolate brown
